Hey you all anybody out there?

What’s it all about …Alfie are we fools to beat all fools or have we come the end of the road. When I take a moment to glance at the “feeds” that are ever present on the screen before me, only to see “uproar over air brush Julia Roberts”, I shutter and actually get a little mad and I think the mad is there, to help to balance out all the sad I feel.

When I was kid back in the what, seems to be now eons ago, which for some is and for some not so much. I loved being a part of this, what we all, or surely most anyway thought to be this wonderful country of ours. We put out the flag on the days we should. We would pledge at least through grade school. We sang the Star Spangle Banner at ball games. It is all part of that which we did.

Today I feel a definite sadness not for what we have become necessarily but for what we could have been. Sadness comes when I see the denial of everybody being equal with everybody else side by side. The rights shall be equal is what I was taught but most importantly I do believe. I am sad that people have stopped caring for our neighbors and those we encounter pretty much on a daily bases. We are told that there is this limited amount of MONEY we can spend no more. We are told that they know best for us. I don’t think that is true. We have held, so tightly to the line that has been, lowered down to us from those on high and I say we need to let go of the line and let us. Let go of the line and let us get to work building a marvelous, homogeneous society where we all win and we really can all win together. We no longer need to hold on to the line that there needs to be losers (those too poor to ever need to have a wage that you can live on comfortably and have healthcare too, so don’t even think about it). We can have healthcare for all of us, not just some. We all can, and it will be great healthcare, it is good to take care of each other in this manner. We can. It will probably end up costing less and be the best. Because that is the way, we do things, when we put our mind to it.

Are we really too, too of anything that we can’t sit down and put our minds together to see just how this can be accomplished and then move to complete it. We have so much in common and so much to do. We need to be for one another and when we are for one another we are for us. Be for one another everybody equal, working on this master- piece to be.
